An Oak Eye Merch

new project as fusing handmade symbol to readymade object, customizing through various means mundane commercial fragments thereby elevating them—and us—through simultaneous creative leveling-up. Ultimately a search for the patterns and shapes I’d prefer to adorn what surrounds me; the imagery stems from my interests, both visual and conceptual. Some are just cute or funny. All are for you to add to your collection.

Dan Bois Graphics

I am a child of the 50's that never grew up. I like to draw Spooky art (vampires, witches, ghost girls, etc.) WWII aircraft, mermaids, robots, tiki's, rocket ships, and aliens. Most of these are turned into vinyl stickers, paintings, magnets, pin backed buttons, & the occasional print. My program of choice to draw in is Adobe Illustrator (which my stickers are created in). My favorite paint medium is acrylics on Trekell Coffin Panels.

Arte de Luz

I am a self taught San Diego artist,  specializing in digital and mixed media art. I love to create pieces with contrasting colors. I'm inspired by beauty,  culture and emotions.  Art is very therapeutic for me, I hope it inspires others.

The Fester Art

Horrorgasm 2019

Due to the overwhelming success of Horrorgasm 2018, we had to expand operations under one roof. Horrorgasm 2019 was held at Queen Bee’s Art and Cultural Center in North Park for a one-day event. With over 75 works of art, we displayed the largest collection of horror-themed art in San Diego. Local businesses brought their creative spooky merchandise for the Artisan Marketplace. Our entertainment lineup included live readings from local horror authors, a podcast skit from the Umind podcast and a bellydance performance. 12 local djs spun in the 21+ section which included an interactive experience provided by Connect San Diego.

Jollygasm 2019

Comic-Con Museum got a taste of our original roots: celebrating pop culture through art. In collaboration with the Comic con museum, Horrorgasm curated the group art exhibition at December Nights holiday film festival. Artists celebrated films such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Home Alone, Gremlins, Die Hard, Elf, and Edward Scissorhands. An estimated 10,000 families graced the Comic-Con Museum despite the rain and enjoyed crafts, movies, hot chocolate, and of course, an amazing holiday art show featuring adorable paintings of Gizmo, Jack Skelington, and Charlie Brown’s Christmas.

Horrorgasm – 2018

Our maiden event started as a 4-venue art crawl between two Subterranean Coffee Boutique locations in Hillcrest and North Park, the former Brick Bar in Uptown, and Iron Fist Brewery in Barrio Logan. 100 artists participated to create unique pieces for four different themes: Classic Monsters, Modern Monsters, The Undead, and the Supernatural. Around 200 enthusiastic crawlers attended Horrorgasm 2018 and collected prizes when they visited all four venues. Local horror writers read short excerpts of their spooky works at the Subterranean Coffee Boutiques in Hillcrest and North. Parklive painting was hosted at Iron Fist Brewing, and screenings of horror favorites were enjoyed by those who visited Brick Bar.
